The extra effort put in on 19th May 2019 to the Great Barrow 10 Mile Road Race saw the Knight Build team come away with the Constructors Challenge Cup.
The Cup, presented this year in conjunction with 2019 Edmund Carr Great Barrow Charity saw select charities benefit from the proceeds of the entry fees together with any donations and sponsorship.
This year the selected charities are:
– Kids Inspire help disadvantaged young people across Essex turn their lives around and gives them back their future;
– Chess Homeless relieve homelessness and related hardship and distress amongst single adults in Chelmsford through the provision of support services and temporary accommodation that helps them move on in their lives;
– The J’s Hospice provides high quality care across Essex for young adults aged 16 – 40 with life limiting conditions and their families;
– Rotary International where people units and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves – administered and distributed by The Chelmsford Mildway Charity Trust Fund.
A big thank you to our victorious team and the tireless work of all organisers and this years’ selected charities.
