At the 2017 ASUC Awards, held on the 24th November 2017 with guest speaker Eddie “The Eagle” Edwards, Knight Build was awarded a prestigious Training Award.
Knight Build has been recognised yet again for its ongoing and continuous training of all staff members, all the way from the general site operatives to our senior site management.
Training at Knight Build Limited in the last year has taken on a new impetus. Training is vital in creating a flexible and motivated workforce that not only understands what they are doing but are tooled with the very latest best practice methods to complete their individual tasks.
Together with on-site training there has been a growth of specialist product and procedures training, ranging from the basic manual handling to the more in-depth CIOB diploma awards.
Knight Build has also engaged a specialist on-line training provider to ensure new technology plays its part in training the current and future generation of our construction team.
The Knight Build ethos is simply that a better trained workforce is a better motivated workforce more confident and capable of carrying out its tasks efficiently and safely and one which assists our staff to maximise their potential.
